Cancer surgery is the technique of removing the tumor and surrounding tissues by an operation. A doctor or surgeon who is a perfectionist is performing this type of surgery is called a surgical oncologist. Surgery is the oldest type treatment in cancer and it is considered as an effective one.
The cancer surgery has various goals –

- For removing the all or some of the cancer tissues.
- In locating cancer.
- To find out if cancer has spread or is affecting the functions of the other organs in the body.

During the cancer surgery, there are many steps which a surgeon has to perform and the patient also has to support him with his will. Amid the cancer surgery, it demands of the small cuts in the skin, muscles or sometimes through the bones. Then after the process, the cuts can be painful and take some time to recover.
Anesthesia is used for keeping calm the patient when these cuts are made by the doctor so that the patient does not feel much pain during the surgery.

Cryosurgery - it is a surgery in treating the patient from cancer, which includes the participation of the extremely cold substances which are produced by nitrogen or argon gas and it is used in destroying the abnormal tissues.
Lasers - The laser treatment is the treatment in which powerful beams of light are used to remove or for making the cancer tissues disable. The laser light can be used for focusing on the small tissues and on very tiny areas so that they can be used for precise surgeries.
Hyperthermia - It is a treatment of cancer disease in which small areas of the body tissues are exposed to high temperatures. The high heat includes in treatment which can damage and kill cancer cells or make them more sensitive to radiation and certain chemotherapy drugs.
